After a bit of a broken TV, breaking news, work all day delay, my Castle review is up over on TV Overmind! Click through to check it out!
This episode was a great return to a standard episode, an episode that could be placed in any season. Though it was Espostio-centric, we also got to see a lot more Gates and Lanie (who we got to see in more than one scene over a dead body), more Tori–who some fans suspect could have had a thing with Espo had he not been so hung up over Lanie) and even Marissa, a new cop. It was a great episode to shine some light on lesser seen characters, while remaining true to the Castle formula. The mythology episodes and the romantic episodes are great, but it’s also nice when we can return to a typical case of the week and not slow things down.
Castle and Beckett finally tie the knot in a wonderful episode that explores where they came from and how far they've come as a couple and a series. Featuring some of the most beautiful vows heard on television.
Yesterday, I got to interview Penny Johnson Jerald (!!!), who plays Captain Gates on the show Castle. She’s awesome and really insightful about her character; it was getting really deep towards the end!
This Monday’s episode introduces her estranged sister, played by Salli Richardson-Whitfield, best known for her role on the show Eureka.
Check out my interview with Penny at TV Overmind!
I also love how this show always presents the logical answer, but always leaves room for the “wild theories” to be true. Beckett says they didn’t find any of the wires and magnets required for Lucas to rig the furniture like he said, leaving it open for telekinesis to be real. They did the same with the time travel episode. The writers have fun and it lets us have fun too.
Castle Interview: Seamus and Juliana Dever Discuss Monday’s All-New “Under Fire”.
Before Christmas, I got the chance to interview Castle’s Seamus and Juliana Dever for tonight’s upcoming episode. They were awesome and nice and a wonderfully cool married couple. It was a bunch of fun and I am so very glad for the opportunity to spread by blogger wings. Click the link above and check it out! And watch Castle!
